CFW Fans (Pty) Ltd, an SABS ISO 9001 certified company, holds a prominent market position in Southern Africa, specialising in the design, manufacture, and distribution of fans for the industrial, mining, power generation, and HVAC sectors.
Since its founding as Continental Fan Works in 1966, CFW has built extensive expertise and knowledge, establishing itself as a trusted supplier of industrial fans to leading corporations both within South Africa and internationally.
The company employs a diverse workforce with a strong skill set in engineering. We are currently seeking a Maintenance and Servicing Electrician to join our team and help maintain the high standards our clients expect. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Perform routine maintenance and servicing
- Diagnose faults and carry out repairs efficiently and safely.
- (if possible) Install and maintain electrical systems for HVAC and engineering projects.
- Work closely with engineers and technicians to ensure proper system integration.
- Liaise with customers to ensure clear communication regarding service issues and resolutions.
- Maintain clear and accurate job cards, service reports, and logs.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work environment.
- Follow safety procedures and company standards at all times.
Qualifications and Experience Required:
- Qualified/trade tested electrician (Red Seal) is advantageous
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role
- Experience in engineering field either HVAC / ventilation / fans or applications is advantageous
- Mechanical experience is advantageous
- Drivers license essential
- Background in refrigeration is beneficial
